The main part of the Tokiguchi Porcelain Clay Formation,which mainly consists of clay-sized sediments with the alternation of sand and silt sediments,was deposited in stagnant water condition situated in lacustrine environment. The coarse debris flow deposits, however, were predominant in the marginal area of the basin.
