 note = {Nineteen kidney transplantations were performed at Shinshu University Hospital during the period from May.1991 to Nov.1999.Nine recipients received transplants from living related donors and ten from cadaveric donors.We provided consultation for sixteen out of nineteen patients before operation and eight afterwards from the viewpoint of psychonephrology.We found psychological problems in eleven patients before transplantation and six after it. Based on these facts, we discussed psychological problems in renal transplantation.
