The results were as follows: 1. Though the mean month-age of the patients was 41.50±12.5 months, 74% of the patients ranged from 2-3 years old. 2. The adaptation reasons for general anesthesia were young age (63.7%), uncooperativeness with dental treatment (57.8%), and because the patients who lived a long distance from the college hospital (31.4%). 86.3% of the patients had multiple dental caries. 3. The number of dental caries teeth per patients was 14.96±3.5 on the average. The number of average treated teeth per patient was 15.32±3.5. 4. The anesthesia treatment time averaged 211.03±43.2 minutes. Anesthesia was performed by endotracheal intubation in all cases. Also most of the cases were done by nasotracheal intubation and slow induction. 5. In terms of mean month-age of weaning and regularity of nursing, the patients tended to be late and to be nursed more irregularly than ordinary children. 6. A high percentage of the patients eat irregularly between meals and have a preference for soft foods. 7.
