Paresthesia, which can be caused by nerve injury, is one of the postoperative complications. We report a case in which we applied a blade-vent implant into the mandibular molar region taking into account the lateral branch of the inferior alveolar nerve. The postoperative course was uneventful without paresthesia. In the preoperative examinations, extreme precautions while performing x-ray examinations is necessary to avoid postoperative complications such as paresthesia. We believe that the preoperative evaluation, surgical procedure, and postoperative care play very crucial roles the success of implantation., application/pdf}, pages = {38--42}, title = {下歯槽神経側枝を考慮しインプラントを施行した1症例}, volume = {23}, year = {1997} }
