She showed Skeletal 3 (ANB+1.5°) with anterior cross bite at age 9y7m. The goal of orthodontic treatment in the first stage was correction of anterior cross bite and control ofmandibular growth, then the goal in the second stage was up-righting of the mandibular molar to correct dental occlusion. There was progressive improvement in the facial appearance and a stable occlusion was also obtained. The achievements were; 1) appropriate forward growth of the maxillary bone and downward growth of mandibular bone without mandibular plane opening, and 2) reasonable upper and lower incisor angle. These results might have been achieved by anterior cross bite correction and control of mandibular growth with a chin cap in the first stage and by mandibular molar up-righting to correct occlusion in the second stage., application/pdf}, pages = {40--50}, title = {骨格性反対咬合の1症例}, volume = {33}, year = {2007} }
