Fish fauna in northern Nagano Prefecture was surveyed by netting and electrofishing during July to October 2019. Ten fish species including recently recognized species（ Pseudogobio polystictus & Silurus tomodaini） from the main Chikuma stream, five fish species from the tributaries, and three fish species from the Nonomi reservoir were recorded in the present study. Six amphibian and one turtle species were also captured in the study area.
